A turn for a turn.

It’s not wrong to do something good that is simultaneously exponentially self-serving. In fact, it can be considered a really sweet Divine “carrot” to encourage proper behavior. What am I referring to? ATFAT — a turn for a turn.

A turn for a turn (ATFAT) is similar to mirroring. With people, mirroring is the conscious or subconscious imitation of speech, gestures, or behavior – one person mirrors another.

In our case, ATFAT is when God “mirrors” our behavior. How?

When one doesn’t complain about the problems or difficulties in their lives, even though things aren’t completely desirable than God doesn’t complain about that person, even though some of their actions aren’t so desirable.

The opposite is also true…
