It hurts.

Pain, suffering, and difficulties are inevitable and part of our current life experience. How we address them is like day and night.

When talking to G-d about our difficulties there are two approaches.

  1. Complain about it. Whining and complaining to G-d suggests that G-d is not being fair. This approach is counter-productive and may result in additional difficulties.
  2. Tell G-d about it. Talking to G-d about what hurts, asking to see the good in it, and even thanking Him for the difficulties evoke Divine compassion.
